PAT frits
Applied Research Europe has been succesfuly promoting the Systec PAT frits for many years.
Systec has become part of the IDEX corporation some time ago. It was decided to stop the manufacturing of
PAT frits and replace them with PEEK frits.
PAT (PEEK alloyed with Teflon) has been very popular, but difficult to manufacture. The overall quality and
reproducibility has not quite met the needs and expectations of the chromatographic community.
PEEK frits have been proven for their quality since some years and with immediate effect, all PAT frits are
replaced with PEEK frits.

PAT frit with 2 µm
After many years of requests from our customers we are now able to present the PAT frit with 2 µm pore size.
The PAT frit is a unique biocompatible filter made of PEEK Alloyed with Teflon. PAT is highly stable even under high pressure, but still flexible enough to not break when bending slightly.
Up till now only 5 and 10 µm filters were available, but now with the 2 µm material the range of use of PAT filters can even be extended to smaller packing particles.
