GasTight™️ Tubing
All of the ARE-Applied Research™️ brand of gas tight tubing and accessories provide the perfect alternative for the transportation of degassed solvents
. Consisting of two different layers of tubing, the inside is PTFE, which is chemically stable but naturally possesses micro pores that allows gases to
enter or leave the solvents. The outer layer of this tubing is PVDF which does not have pores and is chemically resistant to many solvents used in chromatography.
Your mobile phase will not outgas or re-adsorb gasses such as CO2 producing more reliable and reproducible chromatography.
Use the PP fittings kit listed below (sold separately) to make the perfect connection with your Gas Tight tubing. Kit includes Kel-F inserts.
